Doug Osbourne from Naradhan is the National Champion with a score of 165/200. The weekend was quite windy which made for some challenging targets.
Two ranges were set, with a great variety of targets incorporating the 50 & 100ft towers. All targets were visible but the windy conditions made them a challenge. Visitors came
from Kyabram, Griffith, Bathurst, Bateau Bay, Erina (Gosford area), Albury,
Tangambalanga (Vic), Wodonga, Temora, Naradhan, Lake Cargelligo, Leeton,
Cobram, Barham, Cohuna, Forbes, Deniliquin, Shepparton, Nathalia, Melton,
Toolern Vale, Avenel.
Shooters enjoyed country hospitality of a 2 course dinner at the range followed by a fantastic fireworks display by Anthony Slattery.
We would like to thank our generous sponsors for the weekend: Ridgeline, Hay Shire Council/Hay Visitors Centre, Beretta Australia, Spika, SSAA National, Casella Wines, Hay Ag & Auto Parts, Eley Cartridges, Clay Target Australia.
